You Can't Hide From Me

The inspiration for this came from an RP with some friends. I've taken the liberty of writing out an excerpt from said RP in the form of a story. I've included it below~ ^^

I will warn you the story excerpt below is somewhat gory even after I cleaned it up from its original state...



"I ain't tha' great with th' sword but I'm good with th' bow." Shayne stated as he felt the others' eyes fall upon him. He grinned at them sheepishly and took a small step back. Raven and Bella turned to one another to discuss when a shrill female scream rang out from across the ranch.
"Annabelle!" Shayne exclaimed as he took off in the direction of the sound without warning, "Missus Annabelle!" The others followed after him, Raven still carrying Shadow, when they finally caught up to him he'd stopped dead in his tracks. Annabelle was weeping and clutching onto the shirt of a ranch hand that had followed her in search of the lost livestock; yet another ranch hand held up a torch that illuminated the corpse of the beast, mutilated and ripped apart. Annabelle could barely control her sobs.
"She was pregnant..." She whimpered, turning to the carcass as she wiped away some of her tears. The other's winced at the sight of the gore.
"I know, Anna I know. Can ya tell me what happen'd?" Shayne asked, patting her back in hopes of consoling her. She shook her head as more tears came.
"Naw. She was like this when I found 'er." The younger female explained between sobs and sniffles, "What kinda monster'd do somethin' like this to a mama expectin' calves?"
"Uhh fellas? I think y'all should have a lookit this 'ere" Said one of the two males who had now wandered past the corpse and was looking at something on the wall of a nearby building. Shayne, Raven, and Bella made their way over to him and their hearts sank at what he had found.
There on the white wall of the building was a message scrawled out in bright crimson. The words," You Can't Hide From Me " were smeared across the wall in the beast's blood. Raven was absolutely horrified at the sight and clutched Shadow tightly as he groaned. He was still unconscious but he was starting to become more alert.



Basically, I was inspired by this scene in our RP and decided to draw Vaati making his infamous insane grin... the facial expression that always spells trouble. My RP friends know what I'm talking about

Now, I realize that in the RP he doesn't have the crown-like band that resembles his hat... but I added it because his head looked bland also... I may say he's been wearing it the whole time despite never mentioning its existence.

I may do more with this image as well as other scenes and inspirations from our current roleplay as time progresses. I actually had a lot of fun drawing this and I really just adore playing as Vaati. He is by far my favorite muse (Don't tell the others that I said that ) and getting a chance to play an evil character that is truly evil is really awesome. To ~LegendofHearts, *Vanghira, and *Rose-of-the-Twilight you guys are all amazing and I love RPing, chatting and just being goofy with you guys. I can't wait to continue our story and hopefully at some point I will sit down and write it all out I seriously love you guys!

Anyway I think I've dragged this description out long enough so I'll get to the technical stuff

This took about 40 minutes to draw and about 20 - 30 minutes to animate. It consists of about 7 frames and the thumbnail is only 2. It was created in GIMP with the use of the Wacom bamboo create drawing tablet.
